This is the privacy policy for the Templeton Spirits website, run by Templeton Spirits, 575 S Main St, Templeton, CA 93465. It explains what the site collects, which companies receive it, and how to reach us about it. It applies to this website only, not to what happens in the store.

What the site collects

• Contact form. If you use the form on the Contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you type. It is sent through Formspree, a form service, which passes it to us by email. We use it only to answer you.
• Newsletter. If you sign up on the home page, your email address goes to Mailchimp, the service that manages our email list, and Mailchimp opens its own confirmation page in a new tab. We use your address to send store news. Mailchimp adds an unsubscribe link to every email, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Age check. When you say you are 21 or older, your browser remembers it with a small setting stored on your own device (local storage), so you are not asked on every page. It is not a cookie, and it is not sent to us or anyone else.
• Hosting records. Our website host, Vercel, may record technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, as web hosts normally do, to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and tracking

The site itself sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts and images come from our own server. The services below may set their own cookies when you use them.

Other companies that may receive information

• Formspree receives what you send through the contact form. Formspree privacy policy.
• Mailchimp receives your email address when you subscribe. Mailchimp privacy policy.
• Google provides the map on the Contact page. When that page loads the map, Google may collect information such as your IP address and browser details. Google privacy policy.
• Vercel hosts the site. Vercel privacy policy.
• Links to other sites. The DoorDash, Yelp and Google Maps links, and the “I’m Under 21” button (which goes to responsibility.org), take you to other websites with their own privacy policies.

Selling your information

We do not sell the information collected through this website.

Do Not Track

This site does not track you across other websites, so it behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us what we have from the contact form or newsletter, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us at (805) 434-9787, stop by the store, or write to us through the contact form. To leave the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Age

This website is for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Earlier versions are kept in the website’s version history.
